Husham Abdul Shakoor brings over nine years of rich experience in finance, accounting, and taxation to the table. His journey began at MIRA, where for three years, he led tax audits for medium and small businesses, honing his expertise in regulatory compliance and operational efficiency. His tenure at Treetop Health and Allied Insurance Company further diversified his skill set, allowing him to delve into financial planning and management, business analysis and strategy, as well as ERP and IFRS implementations.

A Chartered Certified Accountant, Husham is a fellow member of both the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of the Maldives (CA Maldives). His passion for startups is evident in his dedication to advising small and medium businesses during their growth phase. Over the past few years, he has also provided tax consultancy and advisory services as a freelancer, helping businesses navigate the complexities of taxation.
